Cub Scout Campout

While I was biking Little Red, Kent and Brandt were at an overnight campout with the 11-year-old scouts.  They went up Hobble Creek Canyon and stayed just one night.  Kent said it went well; no one was injured.  Brandt reported that they had a good time.  Casey Deccio, Brandt's scout leader, sent pictures and this report.

Dear Parents of the Tough Tofu Turtles Patrol,

We had a great campout.  Probably the greatest accomplishment, in my opinion, was that the boys planned, prepared, cooked, and cleaned up the meals almost entirely themselves.  Andrew and Brandt served as the lead chefs for the campout, supervising all three meals.  Paul and Zion oversaw breakfast and lunch, respectively.  The rest of the patrol members helped in supporting roles with all the meals.  It was a great success!  We also did a short hike Friday night and played tug-of-war Saturday morning.  We were grateful to be with those that could attend and look forward to future activity with those that attended and those that couldn't.

Sincerely,
Casey

This is Brother Jensen's troop, so none of the Tough Tofu Turtles are pictured.
But I don't have another photo of this activity, so here it is anyway.
