In the company of many hundreds of other people, Kent, Brandt, my mom, Ruth, and I attended the Saratoga Springs Temple open house today. It was crazy busy, but so lovely to be in the temple. The stained-glass windows were beautiful, with a water to hill motif. Given that the Saratoga Springs Temple is on the other side of Utah Lake and there are several temples between us and it, I'm not sure we'll ever go again.

Saratoga Springs Temple Open House
Getting in line to go into the temple.
It was really windy.
Obviously.
At the end of the tour.
This is a weird angle.

I know it's the temple, but I'm not in love with that floral on the couches.

Canoeing at Tibble Fork
What a day! We had a terrific day on the water at Timblefork, paddling around. The sky was blue, the sun was warm, the company was good, the water was calm. I look forward to canoeing all summer, maybe all year, and think back on it fondly once it has happened. We were able to have Bryan and his kids with us this year, something that hasn't happened before. Sadly, Isabella did not feel well and did not join us. In spite of that, it was a great day.
I'm missing my people.
