Ah the rodeo! I would say it is true Americanness, but I'm pretty sure that they do rodeo in Mexico too. In fact, I am fairly confident rodeo originated in Mexico. That aside, I do enjoy going to the rodeo once a year. It's fun to see people living dangerously, riding fast horses, barreling racing, bull riding, and even seeing the little kids getting into it with mutton busting. And then there's the added bonus of having strawberries and cream. It is always fun to be with family, to sit with the little people and laugh and joke and shriek in delight. It did rain on us for a bit, but we didn't let a little rain dampen our spirits.
