Today is Cora's eighth birthday and I took her out to lunch. I gave her the choice of where she wanted to go, and between all the options, she chose Panda Express. Mikayla dropped her off at work and the two of us walked up the street to eat. Cora is a good conversationalist, sharing lots of things she has been doing, what she has been reading, and what she is looking forward to now that school is out. Someone in a panda suit was outside waving to passers-by, so I took a birthday picture. It was a delight, as always, to be with her.
