Final Tree Burning

We have had two Christmas trees by the side of the house, waiting for a final burning.  They have been losing needles and taking up space, and Kent was sick of them.  So tonight we had our final tree burning.  It was pretty spectacular.  They were so dry, they went up fast and furious, putting off tremendous heat and shooting flames about fifteen feet in the air.  I do so love to burn a tree.  I'm not sure it is a really great Sunday activity, but we're buying a shed tomorrow and we need the trees to go away.
