Saturday Evening Stroll

October 16th dawned bright and sunny.
In the late afternoon, Kent suggested a walk along the river.
It was gloriously beautiful, near 80 degrees, even when we finished after six o'clock.
We found a swing along the trail, threw rocks in the river, and talked to our fellow walkers (human and canine).
It is hard to believe it was so lovely in the middle of October.

I took a turn on the swing too.

While on my watch, I managed to keep Brandt out of the water in his new tennie runners.
On Kent's watch, it was a different story.

Brandt found an underpass made of sticks and wood.  He could walk right under it.
Kent crouched down and just stuck his head under.

This is a Brandt shot, looking up into the large tree to which the swing was attached.
