This morning as I was preparing breakfast, Blythe found something sticky that had dripped down the edge of the counter. I imagine that it has been there for months, maybe years. It was clear, under the lip, and I hadn't noticed it. She is lower to the ground and the drip was at her eye level.
I said, "I need to wipe that up."
Blythe replied, "I lick it." And then she did.
Yuck!
