Sunday Activities

It was a wonderful Sabbath.  The Primary sang in church, nearly a last for us.  Blythe is all finished with Primary at the end of the year, but they will sing one more time, on the 22nd.  I love it when the Primary sings; the sweet spirit they bring always strengthens my testimony.

This afternoon, Blythe asked if she could make gingerbread cookies.  Perfect Sunday afternoon, Christmas themed, and she wanted to deliver them to people, so a service project, too!  Doesn't get any better than this.  She mixed, then rolled and baked.  She made frosting and asked for a bit of help with the icing.  Brandt pitched in for a couple of cookies, mostly so he could eat them.  Blythe then made plates of cookies which she delivered to several neighbors, a friendly gesture on a cold winter's night.  That Blythe!  She's sweet in more ways than one.
