Reading

The kids are reading all the time.  Like ALL. THE. TIME.  It's really wonderful.  Today I found Brandt on the floor, reading a book by one of his favorite authors, Stuart Gibbs.  He's a serial novelist and Brandt has read all of his Spy School books.  Brandt found a new series by the same author called  The FunJungle.  The main character lives with his parents at the largest zoo (fictitious) in America.  He and his friends solve mysteries, they are funny, and because the series is set in a zoo, the author mentions poop often.  All good things to capture a boy's imagination.  Brandt laughs aloud sometimes.  He's finished two books in as many days and appears to be looking for a streak.  He's got two more in the series, which he may finish in the next two days.
