Foods Assignment

Brandt had his second at-home foods assignment due this week.  He wanted to make homemade ice cream, and as I like homemade ice cream, I was happy to have him work on that.  He mixed and poured, then we all ate and enjoyed.  He did a good job.  He's clearly liking foods.  He gives me pointers on how to properly cut and measure, and he's more and more willing to help me in the kitchen with meal preparation.  I love classes that teach real world skills, especially when those skills take a culinary bent.
