DeMartini Family Christmas Party

This evening we had our DeMartini family Christmas party.  We ate, had a visit from Santa, talked, took silly pictures, and played a couple of games.  It is always fun to be together; I think the adults like it as much as the children.  I made a couple of Christmas food things I'd seen on Pinterest.  Fortunately, they were easy and I succeeded admirably in my attempts: pinecone cheeseball (whole almonds arranged over a purchased cheeseball) and crunchie Christmas tree (lots of broccoli, some grape tomatoes, a bell pepper, and some cauliflower all cut up and artfully arranged).  Yeah me!

Santa came to visit.
He sang songs with us and to us, asked all the children what they wanted for Christmas,
and delivered small treats, too.
Brandt would have nothing to do with him, even though he knows who Santa is.
He stayed well away and only got close enough for a picture because Kent was next to him
and Blythe was between them.
Never trust a person in a costume!

While Santa was in the house, Brandt stayed well away.

Blythe is asking for whatever Santa wants to bring her that he thinks she'll like.
That's super helpful!
