Scrub Sprout Fire Station Visit

Every year for the past three years, we've been able to make a visit to our local (two blocks away) fire station with the scrub sprouts.  This is always fascinating, and this year did not disappoint.  The two guys who showed us around the station were great with the boys (and girl), had interesting things to tell us, let the boys hold the jaws of life (with lots of help from them), let them wear gear, and were very patient with all the questions (that were really stories).  It's so fun to be inside the station we see practically every day and to know that good men are there, ready to help in an emergency.  Hooray for brave heroes!  And cub scouts!

The EMT is taking Blythe's pulse-ox.
She was thrilled to be singled out as she was the only girl.

Picture 2 taken because Everett was around back getting his scooter and missed the first one.
