Because of the lack of income, we haven't gone anywhere for spring break. Being home all day for five extra days can send everyone into a bit of a panic, but the kids haven't really minded. I had plans of things we could do, but neither Brandt nor Blythe have been super interested in my ideas. They did want to play with cousins, so today, Luke and Makenna came over to hang around. Blythe and Makenna disappeared into her room and I didn't see them pretty much the whole time they were here, but Brandt and Luke passed through my space frequently. It was fun to have them here. I wanted a picture, and without any prompting or planning, they all four held their hands in front of their bodies. Weirdos.
This is Brandt and Blythe's new "trick." Blythe is still loving the roller blades and goes around and around the cul-de-sac all the time. Brandt has begun to pull her, rope around his waist, until she's going really fast. Then she lets go of the rope and speeds along. So much fun! So much danger!
