Field Trip Friday #83--Star Wars: The Last Jedi

We've all been so excited to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and it came out today.  I bought tickets a couple of weeks ago, and Brandt, especially, has been counting down the days until it came out.  He was so excited to go this afternoon!  I got an extra ticket for both of the kids to bring a friend, so we took Sarah and Sam Olyer.  Sam was playing next door with Cruz Josephson, and rather than leave Cruz behind, we brought him along.  In addition, Kent met us and brought along Phil Buchmiller.  Coming to Star Wars and joining us for dinner afterward has become something of a tradition over the past several years as a Star Wars film has come out at Christmas time for the past three years.  It was a very exciting movie right from the get-go, and we all liked it.  There were very funny lines, and sweet interactions, and light saber duels, and a very high body count.  But we all loved it, and I think Brandt and I will for sure need to see it again.  Soon!

We went for dinner afterwards, as we were all hungry when the movie finished.  We went to Rumbi and while the girls sat nicely together at a separate table, the boys all got chopsticks and had duels in between bites of food.  Boys will be boys, especially when hyped up from action packed movie watching.

I'm not sure which picture I like better.
So here's both.
