I got to help with Brandt's Christmas class party today. They had four stations the kids rotated through, and I was in charge of Christmas bingo. They had a craft station, a cookie decorating station, and a minute-to-win-it station. I think it was great fun for everyone, and I liked watching Brandt from afar when he wasn't at playing bingo. He made and ate his cookie, he made cute candy canes in various colors, and he won a bingo round and got to choose a prize. The one he really wanted, an ugly Christmas tie, had already been chosen, so he picked a card game instead. When it was his group's turn to play the minute-to-win-it games, he became the class cup stacking champion, stacking, holding, and dismantling his pyramid in 1:09. Speedy boy! After the party, they had recess, watched a movie, went to lunch, and watched a movie. How's that for a day at school?!
Blythe also had a Christmas party. Yesterday. I wasn't involved. So no pictures.
Steady hands!
28 cups stacked, held, and dismantled.
