Hiking Buddy

I took Brick for a long walk today to get him out of the house and give Mikayla a break.  We went north to Timpview and discovered a walk up the side of the hill.  We went all the way to the top, Kila and Brick leading out, then doubled back and found a dirt trail up a gully behind the high school.  We hiked and hiked, Brick leading and Kila running around both of us, making sure no one got lost.  It was a beautiful morning, I sang, Brick talked and talked, and as soon as we got home, he crashed for his nap.  He is really very good company.
