BOO!

We started the month off right by being "Boo'ed!" two days ago.  The children were absolutely thrilled to get treats, and even more excited with the thought of giving treats in return.  I offered several suggestions and told them they could each pick one family we Boo'ed.  Blythe immediately chose the Bradfords, but then wanted to do Ellen and Sarah and Ava too.  Brandt wanted to Boo the Oylers and Crew and Griffin.  So we Boo'ed! more than two houses.  We did go to the Bradfords and the Olyers, and we also went and gave treats to Ava, Crew, and Griffin, and to Mikayla, Guy, and Brick.  We didn't leave the sign with Mikayla and Guy, however, because Mikayla is broken and it would be too difficult for them to try and Boo! someone else.  We just dropped off a plate of donuts.  Brick loves donuts.  Here are the treats we gave.  Super Halloween-y!

 

*Post posting note.  Blythe has, apparently, really liked the idea of getting Boo'ed! because she keeps taking the sign off the door.  As a result, we've been Boo'ed! three times.  Three!  So nice to get tasty treats, but I've begun to feel sort of guilty.
