We had a Barrus family gathering at our house this evening. Nephew Brett, his wife Heather, and their darling son Ty (10 months) are in town from Taiwan where they live, and we wanted to visit with them while they were here. We gathered with Craig and Monica, Brett, Heather, and Ty, as well as Nate, Kim, Josie, and Ezra, all the C&M Barri. David, Sharon, and some of theirs came--Becca, Josh, Jonathan, Micah, and Matt, Cindy, Aubrey, and Tyson. And Lee, Cammie, and Aaron came (early for dinner too). We had pie and ice cream and sat outside in the backyard and visited. It was so good to see Brett and Nate and their families; we hardly ever get to be with them. We laughed and shared stories, and watched the little people do their thing. Ty even rolled a ball back and forth to me! We are certainly grateful for our family relationships, and to know that those relationships are eternal. I also took a number of pictures that will go in the Christmas photo book!
