Today is Makenna's 11th birthday and we were all meeting for lunch at Brick Oven. When Blythe woke up this morning, however, she felt really lousy and spent most of the day on the couch. It stinks to be sick, and it stinks to be sick if you are missing something other than school, like birthday party lunches. But that's what happened. Brandt felt fine, so I sent him off to lunch with Mikayla and her kids while I stayed home with Blythe. I can say nothing more about the event as I wasn't there, but Mikayla did take these two pictures which I thought were great.
