Discovery and Public Transportation

A sign from the museum.

In the company of Shaley and Roman, Crew and Griffin, we made a trip to the Discovery Museum in Salt Lake this week.  To add a bit of excitment to our trip, we drove to Sandy and then took Trax the rest of the way into the city.  The kids loved it!  I told Kent I thought it was funny that as an activity we took public transportation which so many other people use because they actually need to.  Not us.  The bus/train/trax is only for a good time, and we had one.  We encountered very nice people who seemed to get a bit caught up in the children's excitement.

Brandt had me ask the train driver if he, Brandt, might have a turn driving too.
Without a moment's pause the driver replied, "No."
Brandt didn't seem too crushed.

Watching the city zoom by.

The museum was really fun too.  The first time we went, it was super crowded and as a result, not as much fun as it might have been.  Tuesday it was not busy and the kids were able to do whatever they wanted for as long as they wanted.  We did all sorts of things we hadn't done the first time because we either hadn't seen them or they weren't available.  I think everyone's favorite activity was "flying" the Life Flight Helicopter.  We had to pry small bodies out to move onto other things.

Only green balls.
