The Centennial Middle School Talent Show has been in the works for some weeks, and Brandt signed up to be on the Tech Crew. His health teacher is in charge of the talent show, and Brandt was intrigued with the idea of helping behind the scenes. Or, in the case of Tech Crew, above the scenes. He was given charge of the left side spotlight. Kent and Blythe went to see the talent show while I was at Relief Society. I didn't want to miss his contribution, so I ran over to the school to watch him do his thing while performances were being done for the students. He was a fine spotlighter and had a great time being in an area for "authorized personnel only." I did sneak up to take his picture, but didn't linger to get him in trouble. Paul Moreland was the right side spotlighter, and Will Weidner was the sound guy. Brandt had a great time and wants to help out with the school musical in a couple of months.
