Windswept

Tom and Rosemary Bosco have arrived for a three day visit on their way to California. We want to show them a good time and today we went up to BYU to see the Windswept exhibit. I brought Brandt and Blythe, and Mikayla brought all her people. Fortunately, because the whole installation is made of thin tree branches, you can go in and out and touch everything, so we didn't have to worry about the children keeping hands to themselves. We did need to keep the children in the same area, which was a challenge, but Brandt and Blythe were a great help.

Guy has a cousin who is a curator at the museum. She met us and told us all about the artist, his method of creation, how he has students collaborate with him, how they were able to have him do an installation, and what happens to the whole thing when the exhibit closes. It was fun to have a better understanding, an insider's look at the art.

After being at the museum, we walked over to the water fountain/pond just below the bell tower. The kids crawled around on the rocks and we took some pictures. We then picked up some lunch and swam at Mom's. It was fun to be cultured, and even funner to be wet.
