Activity Days Trip to the Fire Station

This afternoon, for Activity Days, Blythe got to go to the local fire station for a tour.  She's relaying to me what they did.  

When we first got there, the people gave us a tour.  They showed us the whole fire station and then we went to where the fire trucks were parked.  We asked questions and they gave us answers.  I don't remember what we asked.  They shared some of their stories of when they were putting out a fire.  We saw inside the ambulance, too.  

In the pictures, Blythe is in the old-timey fire truck.  The current fire truck was out on a call, so they didn't see inside that one.  But to sit in the old one was pretty cool.  Blythe looks like she liked it.  I'm delighted they got to go.  Who doesn't like a fire house tour?
