Fall is in the Air

This evening, for family home evening, I suggested we drive up the canyon to look at the leaves.  Before we know it, the changing colors will be gone, and I didn't want to miss out.  We drove up to South Fork and found a lovely show along the hills, reds and oranges, some yellow, too.  It was chilly, but we did get out of the car to wander around a bit.  We saw over two dozen wild turkeys in a meadow, and stopped to watch them parading about, grazing as they went.  Do turkeys graze?  Do they peck?  What do you call a turkey eating?  Whatever they do, they were doing.  We also saw Elizabeth and Bensen Elder who were having treats around the campfire with the Drakes.  We saw them from the car as we headed back down.  It was a beautiful evening and we enjoyed the show Mother Nature was putting on.
