Jaker's Fall Fun

It's October and autumn, the season of pumpkins, falling leaves, and plentiful harvest.  Also the time of year for corn pits.  Who can resist an opportunity to romp in a basketball court sized pit of corn?  Not us.  We spent some time this afternoon with most of the DeMartinis playing at Jaker's Pumpkin Patch, rolling around in corn, having a hay ride, sliding, going through the corn maze, petting foul smelling animals, and taking pumpkin pictures.  A good time was had by all!  The kids always enjoy cousin time, and even the adults like to sit in the corn.  It was warm and beautiful and a lovely way to spend an afternoon.

So maybe not everybody loved playing in the corn.

It took 12 of these sorts of pictures to get . . .

this very cute picture.
