It's still fall break.
Brick, Cora, and Kal were over.
Brandt and Blythe are always such a great help with the little kids when they are together.
Today was no exception.
Brick got out some stories and wanted someone to read to him, and Blythe stepped in.
I was delighted to find them on the couch, Brick curled up under the blanket,
clutching a pillow, and Blythe reading to him.
They are reading Are You My Mother?
Brick looks so concerned about the fate of the baby bird.
But as we know, the story turns out well.
I have great hope that the story turns out well for these kids, too.
