Yee Haw! It's a Rodeo!

Together in the company of most of the DeMartinis, we went to the Strawberry Days Rodeo.  It was really fun.  Unlike last year when we went home early, this year we stayed until the very end.  We saw all the events, the end of show motorcycle stunt guys, and fireworks!  The events were very exciting--bareback bronc riding, cow roping, barrel racing, wild cow milking (the absolute funniest!), and bull riding.  We cheered and laughed and gasped and groaned at some of the ridiculous jokes the rodeo clown made.  His show was much appreciated by the children.  In the company of another clown, the two of them drove out in this dinky little firetruck, sprayed each other, set something on fire and tried to spray it out, ran around in a silly manner.  The kids loved it.  I was touched that we started with prayer, said the pledge of allegiance, and that it was very family oriented.  All in all, a great evening!  I didn't bring the camera and my phone died, so here is the one picture that Tysen very kindly took of all of us and our strawberries and cream, and one picture of Blythe taken by Mikayla.
