Political Activism and Family

This morning was the big bond committee push to distribute pro-bond flyers.  We gathered with others, distributed packets, and then spent about an hour and a half running from door-to-door hanging flyers.  While Kent, Brandt, and Blythe were not overly thrilled with the prospect of helping me, they were good sports and worked hard.  It helped that there were donuts before we began, too.  I think Brandt had three.  We completed about eight routes and distributed all the others to our fellow political activists.  I was absolutely delighted to be all finished with the major push, and hope the bond passes.  I will be fairly depressed if all the time and effort I have exerted will be for naught.
