Canyon Conference Jaunt

In-between conference sessions today, we took a little jaunt up the canyon.  Grandma Sue had been watching conference (and children) with us, and we needed to get out of the house and have a run around.  Kent, Sue, and I took Brick, Cora, and Kal up to Bridal Veil Falls for a "hike" along the trail.  Brandt and Blythe wouldn't come.  Lame-o!  The kids ran and ran, Cora and Kal wanted to pet every dog we passed, Kal wanted to throw rocks in the river every time he caught a glimpse of it, and we had to be super vigilant that he didn't throw himself into the river right after the rock.  Cora and Kal ran back and forth across a bridge, with more rock throwing.  They climbed on rocks by the side of the trail, and would have launched themselves in the pool at the bottom of the falls if we had only taken off their shoes.  The colors were lovely, there were lots of people out, and it felt good to stretch and walk (or run) when we had been sitting on the couch most of the morning.
