This evening, Blythe got to go see Newsies with Addie Lepinski and Lilly Bradford. Addie's mom, Barbara, had bought tickets for the whole family, but then the boys didn't want to go and they had two extra tickets. Blythe got home late and said it had been fine. She liked being with Addie and Lilly, but the play, in her mind, was only so-so.
"What?! All those cute boys dancing around and you didn't like it?" I exclaimed.
"Mrph," was her reply, with a very teenager-ish eye roll. Well good! She's not looking at boys like "that" just yet. It will come soon enough.
While Blythe was out, Kent, Brandt, and I stayed in and had a movie night. We had popcorn and then folded laundry while we watched Spiderman: Homecoming. It was Marvel, funny, and just the right bit of fluff for taking care of a mountain of clean clothes. Nice to have folding helpers. Everyone was entertained tonight!
