Summertime Swimming

I took the kids to the outdoor pool for the first time this summer.  It was perfect swimming weather.  I had Brick because Mikayla is having Cora today, so after his nap, we went to swim for a couple of hours.  It was busy, but the kids didn't seem to care and I was able to visit with several neighbors we saw there.  It was fun to be swimming together.  The rec center has a new large ball that bounces up and down and makes waves (a new feature this year!), and the kids, especially Brick, liked playing on the equipment and going down the slides.  I'm glad we've got such a great outdoor facility to enjoy.  And we're excited to meet Cora who was born about the time we were leaving for our swim.
