Today, for Labor Day, all the DeMartinis gathered for breakfast at South Fork.  It was a chilly morning, fall is definitely in the air, but it was sunny and beautiful.  The air was crisp, the sky was blue, the dewy grass was green.  It was marvelous to be together.  Everyone was there except Missy who worked last night and was home sleeping.  Georgianne and Lauren joined us too.  Mikayla made coffee cake, Mom cooked bacon and sausage and brought donuts, I cut up fruit.  We were going to have scrambled eggs, and although the propane made it up the canyon, the propane stove did not.  So we had an extra fancy continental breakfast eaten en plein air.  As always, the children loved being together.  The boys played football with Uncle Guy, the girls hunted for treasure (bits of broken glass and other pieces of trash), the adults played croquet and wrangled tiny children.  The three little boys--Brick, Collin, and Donovan--traipsed around together, eating dirt and collecting sticks and rocks.  It was wonderful!

We also gathered for swimming in the last afternoon, and while I took my camera to capture the moment, I swam and didn't get it out of the my bag.  It was fun to be all together again in the pool.
