Family Temple Sealings

Every year at Christmas time, we like to gather at the temple to do family sealings. Somehow, sealing our ancestors feels like a terrific Christmas present, and being with loved ones in the temple is always the best. We had an appointment this evening but ended up being fewer in number than we anticipated. Christopher and Tysen were going to come, but Christopher was dealing with a wicked migraine, and although Tysen came without him, she discovered upon arrival that her temple recommend had expired and she couldn't get in. Kent has been sick (he's got Covid) so he didn't come, and that left just the five of us pictured because Mom is on her mission.

David Bean, my down-the-street neighbor, was our sealer, and it was nice to have him officiating. Even though Mikayla's knee is still in a brace, we were able to move the padded kneeling bench and just use a chair. It was a great session and we got lots of people sealed. It was the perfect way to start off the Christmas season. Here's hoping we can do it again soon with everyone there.
