Fall Soccer Wrap Up

This evening was Blythe's last soccer game of the fall season.  It has been a good season.  Not only has Blythe played well and improved considerably, her whole team did well.  They scored in every game and actually won a couple.  It was a treat to see Blythe run and kick and defend the goal more confidently than she has in the past.  Barbara Lepinski and Aimee Davidson took the girls to Waffle Love after a game they had hoped to win.  Instead, it was a consolation trip to help them feel better after a devastating 9-2 loss.  We had two games cancelled because of thick smoke in the air due to wildfires near Elk Ridge and Spanish Fork Canyon, so they played later in the fall than previously.  Mikayla did a good job coaching, and all the girls wanted her to come back in the spring.  She'll have two new babies, so that's out.  Here's to a great season of success!

This is me watching a soccer game.
Cora took the picture.
She came to most of Blythe's games, because Blythe's were frequently at the same time as Brick's,
and we divided Mikayla's children so as not to lose them.
Guy would take Kal and I would take Cora.
She took this picture of me.

More sideline shenanigans

More off field wrestling.
That Cora is a brute.

Naomi, Bella, Hailey, Mikayla
Mary, Blythe, Maggie, Lilly, Addie

And pictures from the Waffle Love excursion.

And some concluding shots of the beautiful mountains that stand majestically over us each week.
That's a bit poetic, but they are breathtaking.
