Snow--Finally!

It snowed most of the day yesterday.  This has been the first significant snow that has actually stuck to the ground since Christmas, and that snow melted within a day or two.  There also wasn't as much as fell yesterday.  We went and got the kids boots last night as they both needed new pairs.  Blythe has been asking for weeks, but there hasn't been a need, so I haven't felt compelled to go.  Finally, however, we got new boots for both of them.  Unfortunately, Brandt's box contained two left feet, so I'll have to exchange them on Monday.  However! that didn't stop him from joining Blythe outside first thing in the morning to play in the snow, and then again almost as soon as we got home from church.  They are building a fort on the south side of the backyard, and using Blythe's new sled to haul snow.  I love it when they work and play nicely together, and when they are outside on a Sunday afternoon.  It makes the day so much more enjoyable.
