Living Planet Aquarium

The children were out of school today, even though it's a Tuesday.  There is district wide teacher training stuff happening, so while the teachers are working, the children are not.  And what on earth do you do with children after they've already had a long weekend?  We opted to go to the Living Planet Aquarium with Mikayla and her kids.

Although it isn't enormous, the aquarium is good size with lots of fun exhibits.  We saw penguins, otters, sharks, fresh water and salt water fish, a huge anaconda (14 feet long), a pirahna feeding, butterflies, birds, sting rays, turtles, and poisonous frogs.  The kids liked it, I liked it, Mikayla liked it.  It was a great way to spend a free weekend morning out of school.

Cora is having something of a pout in the middle of a walkway.
When you've got to have a tantrum, you've got to have a tantrum.

Cora did not want to cross the net, and she lost a shoe almost immediately,
but she was willing to go with Blythe.

Cora was tired and hungry.
This picture was taken five minutes before we walked out and went to get food.
