This morning we rode our bikes down Timpview Drive. I'm wanting to bike more with the children and build their stamina. We made it farther than we had the last time we rode, but we had more whining, too. We'll improve.
Brandt had wanted to bike south to the school to play, not north for just a ride, so on the way back, I suggested we stop and get Brick and Cora and then go play at the school. Both Brandt and Blythe thought that sounded great, so we went and collected them, then walked over to play on the equipment. Not long after we got there, the sprinklers came on and the children couldn't resist going to run through them. Well, Cora was able to resist with some ferociousness. When I asked if she wanted to run through with me, she emphatically said, "NO!" It was a true NO no. The other three came home soaking wet. But we all had a great time.
