Blythe wanted to take really a lot (a LOT) of pictures of the flowers. I had taken our small camera so she could take as many as she wanted, but the battery died too soon (poor planning on my part), so I had to take pictures for her. "Mom!" she would cry, "Look at how beautiful this one is! Take a picture!" So we have lots of flower photos.
One group kid shot with Brick looking but not Lyla,
and one with Lyla looking but not Brick.
It was VERY bright where we chose to sit.
Brick ran off the path and into the shrubbery.
We sent Blythe in to fetch him.
He didn't seem to mind being hauled around Blythe.
Did I mention that the kids did lots of running around?
Although Blythe is the only one pictured running here,
she was not the only one running.
Staged Mom picture wherein the thought bubbles above the kid's heads would read,
Brandt: "Please Mom. Do we have to be taking this stupid picture? I'm only doing this to humor you."
Blythe: "I'm not going to smile because I don't want to hold Brandt's hand, and I even more don't want to humor you."
Mikayla--put this picture on your blog!
