Junior Bird Girl

We did a Kiwi Crate this morning.  It was all about birds.  The kids both made a bird's nest out of glue soaked yarn artfully arranged over a bowl, painted eggs, and created masks and wings with feathers and elastic.  Brandt liked the wings but he especially liked the mask, without feathers.  He looked just like the Lone Ranger.  He put on the mask, grabbed his gun, and went about righting wrong.  Blythe, ever the artiste, decorated her mask, prepared her wings, and then flew around the backyard making funny bird noises.  So here she is, our Junior Bird Girl.  (I didn't get a picture of the Lone Ranger.  He kept galloping away on Silver.)
