Today is Veteran's Day. In honor of his Grandpa George, veteran extraordinaire, Brandt wanted to wear his grandpa's hat. He got permission from an administrator to wear it the whole school day, even though, generally speaking, hats are not allowed. We are so glad Brandt feels a connection with Grandpa George and would want to remember him on this special day. And we are grateful for the men and women who are willing to serve in the armed forces and sacrifice to maintain the freedoms we enjoy in such abundance.
