Fall Band Concert

This evening, Brandt had his first band concert of the year.  He's been practicing a bit at home, but listening to the songs they were going to play a lot.  His group, the Concert Band, played three numbers; Sea Shanty Variations, Gentle Winds, and Furioso.  Brandt most liked Furioso, and I agree, it was a fun piece of music.  The Sea Shanty Variations included a section from "What do you do with a drunken sailor," including two measures of singing, "er-ly in the morning."  I didn't really get a decent picture the whole concert because Brandt plays in the back of the group, and I can't see him.  Maybe next time I'll sneak forward and snap a shot or two.  We do like hearing Brandt play.
