Museum of Natural Curiosity

Today, with Mikayla and her kids, and Grandma Sue, we went to the Museum of Natural Curiosity.  We needed an out-of-the-house-run-around activity, and it seemed like a good choice.  There's water, and climbing, and slides, and music making, and puppet shows, and lots of places to run away and hide, and what could be better than that?  Blythe and I did the high ropes course which was scary.  At one point we were 209 feet above the ground!  The big kids were good with the little kids, and we didn't lose anyone permanently.

We got to spend an hour way up high.
The daily challenge was to walk backward without holding on across a beam.
It was super scary, but I was able to do it.
No real fear of falling because of the harness,
just the being unable to see where to put my feet was unsettling.

Brandt is being a bush in a play about forest creatures.
I suppose a bush could be considered a forest "creature."
Maybe.
