A Last

This is a cute picture of Mikayla and Cora.  It is also the last picture I'll ever take on our underwater camera.  I got the camera out of the bag, snapped this picture, then Cora grabbed the camera so she could take a picture, too.  Turns out the battery chamber wasn't completely closed, so water seeped in, ruining the guts.  I jumped out of the pool and immediately put it in rice, but it was all for not.  The lens had water damage and it was all over.

So sad.  I wish a warning message had come up when I first turned it on.  There usually is one, but apparently I dismissed it the last time I used it and didn't remember this time.

Oh well.  Live and learn.

But it's sure a cute picture!
