Field Trip Friday #76--Museum of Curiosity

Kal is still in the hospital and will be until at least next Friday.  His lungs did not clear up and he needed more care than he could get at Orem Community.  So off he went to Utah Valley, along with Guy and Mikayla.  They have wanted to be with Kal, so Brick and Cora have been with others (mostly us) since Tuesday.  They hung around with us on Wednesday and again today.  So knowing we would have a long afternoon with lots of little people, I took us all to the Curiosity Museum for Field Trip Friday.

Brandt, Blythe, and Brick all took off and did their thing.  Brandt wanted to go up to the suspended airplane, and he made sure Brick made it, too.  They climbed all through the monkey palace and stomped around on a projected video game.  Cora was not super interested in anything for small children, but instead, ran around and went up and down the stairs.  We went into Kidopolis and she ran and ran, although the dryers at the laundromat did hold her interest for quite a while.  She LOVED the water section of the museum.  She played and splashed and wanted to be in the water in the worst way.  We went outside to the garden where there is a large playground with slides and a mini zipline that Brick bravely rode but didn't like it super well.  Blythe, on the other hand, thought it was great and rode twice.  When we went back in to go back to the airplane, Cora decided she wanted to go, too.  Sort of.  She wasn't sure about crawling across the rope bridges, but when she got there and climbed in the plane with Brandt, she was delighted.  It was a fun activity and everyone was entertained for the afternoon.

Cora liked the lights around the center atrium the very best.
Every time she ran through this center part (and it was a LOT of times),
she stopped to look into the lights.

Blythe spun Brick around until they were both dizzy.

In the wind booth

In six tries, this was the best we got.
Brick never looked at me even once.

Cora climbed up the net bridge, but she didn't really like it.

Flying into the sunset

Blythe, Cora, and I weight as much as a whole lot of grasshoppers!

Although Brandt was good to run alongside Brick,
his face tells the true story--
he didn't like it.
However, as soon as he got off, he said, "Again! Again!"

There was a maze, made slightly easier by the fact that you could see through the bushes.
No leaves yet.
I followed Cora while Brandt, Blythe, and Brick ran through themselves.

The not so great pictures.

I wonder what was so interesting to Brandt, Brick, and Cora.
Only Blythe was looking at me.

This thing they are standing on spun around.
Cora really liked it.
She didn't want to get off!
