Sunday Evenings

With no TV as a general rule on Sundays, and the children always being squirrelly Sunday afternoons, I have begun recording nature programs I feel good about watching.  Kent and I both did that growing up, and learning about God's creations seems like a worthwhile way to spend an hour.  Tonight Kent and the kids snuggled up on the couch to watch a penguin program.  There was a lot of cold temperature coverage, father penguins trying to keep their eggs and new chicks warm, driving snow storms.  The children were cold and wanted to be right next to Kent.  I liked seeing our father keeping his chicks warm.
