We gathered today for a Valentine's party with DeMartini cousins. We had lunch--heart-shaped pizza, red fruit, salad--played some games, decorated sugar cookies, and then had adult chatting while the children ran around. As always, everyone was happy to be together and we laughed a lot. We had to drag the children away. We do luvvvvv to be together; it was a perfect way to celebrate Valentine's Day.
Brandt was the master at this candy heart sucking game.
The kids had to try and suck up and transfer to a bowl as many candy hearts as they could in 30 seconds.
Brandt won both times they played, sucking up 27 the second time around.
He was all focused concentration.
Blythe beautifully decorated this lip cookie.

DeMartini cousin, less Rowan and Cora who were both sleeping,
and Mila and Evie who didn't come.
We took the picture on the stairs because Collin put himself there and wouldn't move.
Rather than taking Mohammed to the mountain,
we took the mountain to Mohammed.
Oddly, it was easier that way.
