Decorating Grandma's Tree

For many years, part of our Christmas activities has been the decorating of Grandma Hare's tree.  We have gathered at her home, decorated the tree, and had treats.  It has been a wonderful time to be together, talk, laugh, listen to lovely Christmas music, and eat yummy food.

Grandma is now in an assisted living home.  She lives in a mental fog and doesn't recognize us.  But on Monday we went to decorate the Christmas tree where she lives to make the home more festive for everyone who lives there.  The tree turned out beautifully, we were able to visit with Grandma, and we even had cookies and eggnog.  I wish my children could have known Grandma as I did, but I am happy that we went to be with her.

As is evident in this picture, we are still struggling with the potty training.

Collin is Grandma Hare's 21st great grandchild, but there are three more due next year.
