Kent was conscripted to help cook and serve hotdogs in the company of Gregg Pugmire and Hilary Davis and family (Hilary is in charge of food). They served 360 hotdogs over the three hours of the Extravaganza, and by the time they were done, Kent was beat. Standing on concrete that long is hard on a body, and being a short order cook is exhausting too. I was willing to be put to work, but I got there late enough that everything was under control. Instead, I bid on some baskets in the silent auction and stood by for cleanup. In the end, that was good because Mikayla had to return to the hospital again because Thea was not doing well. I filled in for her at the conclusion of everything.
The event was fantastically successful, making upwards of $12,000. A triumph to be sure! Mikayla knows how to give great party.
