Mike and McKenzie Drake host a neighborhood New Year's Eve party every year. The last couple of years it has been on December 30th which I really like. For all of the years we have been going, we have brought a very dry, very burnable Christmas tree we have found on the side of the road. The wire, the smoke, the flames, the danger is all very, very exciting!
Today after the movie, Kent and I drove around to try and find a suitable offering. We found one and this is the texting exchange that followed:
At the end of the evening, after delicious nosh and visiting, the tree was a terrific burn!
