Tonight was the DeMartini outdoor movie night. Normally the kids are excited about this and look forward to it, but for some reason, tonight was not that night. We had a wonderful culdesac barbecue at the Atkinsons prior to going, and Blythe and Brandt both said they wanted to stay home and play with friends. They have reached an age where they can be by themselves, and we are trying not to force them to do things they really don't want to do, even if those things are fun. So Kent and I went to Springville to be with the DeMartinis, and Brandt and Blythe stayed home. We missed having our children with us, but there were lots of other children to be with, several of whom sat on our laps. Their cousins missed them too. We watched Raya and the Last Dragon which we all liked, even Kent, and the munchies were delish.
